Job Vacancy: Senior Cost Accountant & Inventory Control

Location: Dar es salaam, Tanzania.

We are looking for an experienced finance/accounting professional with strong expertise in costing, inventory control, and ERP systems to join our dynamic team at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle product costing in SAP and prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Conduct month-end costing runs in SAP.

• Prepare and issue product pricing estimates for customers.

• Develop cost models to advise on pricing for existing and new SKUs.

• Serve as Inventory Controller, ensuring accurate stock management.

• Lead month-end and periodic stock taking activities.

• Work closely with production and sales teams to align costing, pricing, and inventory processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

• Qualified CPA/CMA with around 5 years of post-qualification experience

• Working experience in a mid-sized or large multinational company.

• Strong knowledge of product costing and inventory management.

• Proficiency in SAP preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
